3 Weeks

We've survived another week. It has been fantastic. She is so amazing. Changing every day. We had our appointment at Scottish Rite on Tuesday and it went really well. They were concerned about some looseness in one of her hips but so far it appears to have corrected. We'll go back again in 4 weeks for another look. For now, it looks good.

Last week we had a photographer come over and take some newborn pictures. Below are some of the finished products. I should have the full CD later this week. We had a good time but she got very fussy at the end. Not sure how some of these shots ever made it.

2 Weeks Already

It's been a little over two weeks and we are adjusting well. She has just started to get fussy and is not sleeping quite as much. I'm sure it will pass soon. We went to the doctor on Friday for a quick visit and she was up to her birth weight, 6lbs 14oz. We went back on Tuesday and she was up to 7lbs 6oz. That's 2oz per day. Looks like the feedings are going well.

She is so amazing and we are enjoying every minute. She has changed so much already and continues to change each day.

Here are some pictures that we have been taking over the last week or so. Hope you enjoy.

1 Week Today

I can't believe that Landry is one week old already. It's been the longest and shortest week of my life. It's only been 7 days and yet she has changed so much already.

We went to the pediatrician today for our first appointment. She did great but I have to say that I'm not thrilled with the doctor. We interviewed her before but today was just different. I think we're going to have to make a change. Suggestions for pediatricians in Dallas are welcome.

So, about our little superstar. The nurse was amazed at how alert and mobile she is for only 7 days old which makes Mommy and Daddy proud. She weighed 6lbs 14oz when she was born and was down to 6lbs 6oz when we left the hospital on Friday. As of today, she's back up to 6lbs 10oz and is in the 22% for weight. She measured 20" at birth and is up to 20.5" which is in the 86% for height.

She is sleeping well and I have to wake her up most times for feedings. GiGi, MaMaw and PaPaw have been visiting a lot which gives Mommy and Daddy a nice break. The rest of the time we just sit and watch her. We are in complete awe of this little girl. God is truly amazing and I have never felt so blessed.

Here are a few pics from Easter Sunday and today.

Happy Easter!

On our way to the Doctor

Home Sweet Home

After 4 days in the hospital, we finally brought Landry home for the first time on Friday.

The hospital stay was surprisingly pleasant. The nurses were amazing and the stay very comfortable.

We have enjoyed our time at home. She is such a good baby! We are not sleeping much at night but it's getting better every day. We could probably sleep more but Mom's a little neurotic and is not quite ready to quit watching her every move.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts, prayers, calls, texts and everything. We hope that you each get to meet her soon.
