Our Christmas present from my mother was the nursery bedding. It arrived last week and we've finally really begun working on her room. Here are a few pics of the bedding and the chandelier that Doug put up. I'll post some more once we make more progress.

Christmas Card Crazy
First, if you didn't receive a Christmas card from us this year, I apologize. With the change in jobs, I lost a lot of my contact info. Please email me your address and I'll make sure to update my lists.
Now, about the card. I think it turned out pretty well. Not what we had expected but under the circumstances... Two days before we took this picture, Doug came down with a case of Bell's Palsy. For those of you who aren't familiar, it's a temporary condition that causes paralysis on one side of the face. This can last for a few weeks or months. Lucky for us, it only lasted a couple of weeks. He's back to his handsome self now. So, that caused us to get creative with the picture. To top it all off, we were using the timer on the camera. Lots of running back and forth. Anyway, I think we were able to get a decent one.
This is really the most recent baby bump picture I have. I'll take some more soon and post for those of you that have been asking.
A new beginning
I have been terrible about documenting our life thus far. So, I've decided to try and keep up a blog. With Landry's arrival scheduled in a little over 2 months I figured it's time to get started.
It's been a crazy 7 months in our household. June and July were especially crazy. I left the corporate world and began my next career as a Realtor and found out that I was pregnant. What a crazy way to begin a new chapter (or chapters). Real estate is going great and I'm bummed that I'll have to take some time off but can't wait for little Landry to get here.
As for the baby, I won't bore you with details but we have had a few complications and that along with my age put us in the "high risk" category. Thankfully, things have been going great and each day is one day closer to a full term pregnancy. The bright side of all of this is that we have had a sonogram every 2 weeks since about week 12. We are blessed to be able to watch her grow and have pictures to document everything. The next clear picture I get, I will post. I am 30 weeks tomorrow. Only 10 more to go!!
Stay tuned in, I promise to try and keep this as updated as possible.
